How we test abrasion life at the factory
A look inside our slurry loop rig, hydrostatic test bays and adhesion pull-off records.
Slurry loop rig
Compound samples run in a closed slurry loop until measurable wall loss appears. Target for dredging tube compounds: abrasion loss ≤0.20 cm³ per 1.61 km.
Hydrostatic and vacuum bays
Every hose is pressure tested above working pressure; suction types additionally hold full vacuum to confirm there is no ovalisation or collapse.
Adhesion records
Pull-off tests between tube, reinforcement and cover are logged per batch and shipped with the mill certificate.
